Dacoit: A Love Story Finally Arrives in Hindi on Prime Video
After a long-awaited wait, the Hindi version of the action-thriller Dacoit: A Love Story has officially premiered on Amazon Prime Video. The film was released in multiple languages on the platform in early May and had Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles and was released digitally in Hindi on June 5, 2026.

The announcement was confirmed by director and cast member Anurag Kashyap who took to social media to share the news much to the delight of fans who had been waiting for the Hindi dub ever since the film was released in theatres in April.
A Western Drama Neoteric
Dacoit is a romantic action drama, a combination of high octane heist and gritty emotional core, directed by debutant Shaneil Deo and co-written by lead star Adivi Sesh. The story is about the life of Hari (Adivi Sesh) who is betrayed by his ex-flame Saraswati (Mrunal Thakur) and spends years behind the bars for a crime he didn’t commit.
After his release, Hari ventures out for redemption and revenge, resulting in a string of high-octane robberies and a tense reunion with Saraswati. The film is helped by a brilliant supporting cast that includes Anurag Kashyap as the dogged CI Rambabu, along with Prakash Raj, Sunil and Atul Kulkarni.

The Hindi version of the film is now streaming for all Prime members. While the film had a mixed run at the box office earlier this year, it has found a second life on OTT, with viewers praising its slick cinematography and intense action sequences.
